Zimbabwe Sables Set to Face Uganda Cranes in Kampala

The Zimbabwe Sables have named their travelling squad of 24 players ahead of their second match in the Victoria Cup against Uganda.

The squad which leaves for Kampala on Friday morning, will be captained by Hilton Mudariki. Hilton was unavailable for the Sables last visit to the Pearl Of Africa, as he had just moved to English Championship side Jersey Reds in June 2018, a move which saw him miss the Sevens Rugby World Cup in San Francisco so that he could settle down at the club.

Zimbabwe have one win already under their belts, beating Zambia 39-10 in a Zambezi battle in their opening game of the Victoria Cup.

The Sables have three new faces in Aiden Burnett, Dudlee White Sharpley and Rufaro Chikwaira. Takudzwa Kumadiro who was part of the Sables squad in 2018 will be starting on the wing.
