Warriors extend their unbeaten run to five games as they sit steady atop the Uganda Rugby Premiership. The Legends based side was nothing short of clinical yet again as they pulled away from a stubborn Rams side with a calculated second half performance.

It was a cagey beginning from the top league side as Rams took charge and mounted early pressure, all this ended futile, a long period of the first half was 3 all as both teams shared the spoils with a penalty a piece.

A determined Rams team seemed confident about their chances against the visitors until the coaching bench of the Warriors turned up the heat using a far more superior scrum than the Rams who conceded a penalty try that extended Warriors lead to 10-3 at half time.

The Warriors back row was hard at work the entire game

With increased hunger, the DusuPay sponsored side returned to lay the law on their hosts with two tries from fly half Henry Musisi and new sensation Joseph Oyet. Oyet’s try attained the bonus point as Warriors continued the search for more points, they were prevented from extending the score by some questionable calls by the referee of the day. The Warriors put that aside and focused on sealing the victory, denying Rams any more points and keep the top as competitive as possible.
