Steven Bengo is now a purple shark, again.
The club has revoked the suspension pined against the former SC Villa midfielder after he asked to be forgiven.
“Bengo has been granted a second chance at the club after he apologised for his behaviour that had led to the club suspending him indefinitely,” reads a statement on the club’s official website page.
Bengo was given an indefinite suspension by Wakiso Giants after disappearing from the club without official leave and without seeking permission.
Club CEO Sula Kamoga has revealed that the player issued in an apology.
The statement adds: “The club however offered him room for appeal on the matter and after apologising in writing to the management, technical staff and fellow players, he has been pardoned.”
The player is expected to play a part as Wakiso take on Kireka United in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Tuesday at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
Bengo has had stints with SC Villa, KCCA, URA FC and Express FC.
