Despite playing their last two games without head coach Sam Ssimbwa, URA FC are yet to find difficulties.
URA FC assistant Coach George William Lutalo managed to guide the team past Ndejje University FC with a 2-1 victory. This, comes after a hard fought win against SC Villa recently.
Peter Lwasa headed in at close range in the seventh minute before the side doubled the advantage courtesy of an own goal in the 76th minute. Robert Eseru brought on back for the hosts at the death.
The performance has been good because we came for three points which have achieved,” noted Lutalo after the game.
We conceded a goal, its a big concern as we lost concentration towards the end. However, that is football and you can’t be good the entire minutes throughout.”
Ndejje are a good side, and I can see that they are improving, they gave us a hard time but managed to get our three points.”
The victory elevated URA to 28 points from 17 games. The side are in fourth below KCCA, Vipers and Mbarara. URA have won six games and a record ten draws.
Ndejje on the other hand, remain second from the bottom with ten points. The new comers have gone twelve games without a win since beating Paidha on October 30.
Next for URA FC is a home game against Maroons FC on Friday, February 8 at Namboole. Ndejje will visit Police FC the following day at Lugogo.
