The Black kit shall be worn on home games, while the grey kit shall be worn on away games.
“Buffaloes are one of the core teams at Kyadondo and in Ugandan rugby. Today they’re unveiling their kit and it is good day to be part of this,” said Philip Kiboijana, the Vice Chairperson of Kyadondo Rugby Club.
I have coached this team since 2013 and I can now proudly say that our efforts are paying off as we keep producing players for the national team. I am thankful to Toyota and I promise that the progress is going to continue form what you are seeing today,” said Coach Edgar Lemerigar.
“I am very happy to be wearing the new strips, and I am grateful to Toyota Uganda on behalf of my team mates. As a team, we promise to reap dividends and do what we do best, play good rugby. We are the 7s players in the country and we want that glory back here,” remarked an elated Stephen “Buju” Alul, the skipper of Toyota Buffaloes.
This ceremony was overseen Mr Mahmood Omar, the Managing Director of Toyota Uganda who reiterated that the relationship the company has with Buffaloes goes a long way as they take it seriously as part of their CSR.
