Title race heats up as KCCA host the Ankole Lions at Lugogo

Title hopefuls and defending champions KCCA will play host to relegation threatened Mbarara City. The Hon. Mwine Mpaka and Top Bet bankrolled side has had a roller coaster of a season filled with highs and lows. The constant administrative episodes have taken a toll on the on field displays with Coach Ibrahim Kirya being sacked even before making six months.

The first round encounter of this fixture ended nil all with youthful centre back Hillary Mukundane putting on a man of the match performance.  Mbarara City has the unfortunate statistic of having not won any away game this season drawing 5 and losing 6.

Mbarara city players have been promised heavy bonuses if they manage to beat the drop and will be expected to put up a spirited fight at the Startimes Stadium in Lugogo tomorrow.

Prediction :
I expect KCCA to win this one easily since they are desperately looking to close the gap on table toppers SC Villa Jogoo.
