32 year old Tendai Mtawarira who commonly goes by the alias “Beast” will make his 100th Test appearance for South Africa in Bloemfontein on Saturday in the second Test of the June Test Series against England.
Mtawarira will feature in a lethal front row alongside industrial hooker Bongi Mbonambi and Frans Malherbe, who makes a return after a lengthy absence due to injury.
The other change is Pieter-Steph du Toit who returns to the starting XV in the No. 7 jersey in place of Jean Luc- Du Preez.
The rest of the team remains as it was, with Siya Kolisi continuing to captain the squad from flank.
Super rugby recruit Brad Shields will make his first start for England with Danny Cipriani on the bench as well, the wasps flyhalf is set for his first cap since 2015.
Lock Joe Launchbury returns to the starting XV after recovering from a calf injury, he replaces the young Nick Isiekwe, who faced the wrath of Eddie Jones’ early substitutions at Ellis Park.
Owen Farrell continues to captain the side that will be looking to hit back after a very mediocre 55 minutes that saw them give up a 20 point lead and eventually go on to lose the game.
