Rhinos intend to upset Pirates on their first visit to Kings Park

Ever since their big win against the Warriors, Pirates have harnessed the gods that filled them with last season’s champagne rugby.

They have definitely found themselves after a cagey start and have had some big performances to show for it. The latest being an 80+ score thumping of Walukuba.

Pirates have found the “lethal ness” in them. Led by Haruna Muhammad

This weekend they host the Shell Rimula Rhinos who find themselves in unfamiliar territory as they struggle to make consistency their best ally.

Ivan Magomu and company have made it aware that no game shall be taken for granted as they aim to find the points and the necessary points difference that will be key when the title chase comes to the wire.

The Rhinos will need to channel all the leadership they can in a side that is going through a lot of transition. Despite all the changes, their forwards remains a threat that can cause much damage if the opposition are lured into playing their style.

Their first visit to Kings Park Bweyogerere will be interesting to see – only the Betway Kobs so far have spoilt the party at Pirates new ground and the Sea robbers will have every intention to keep the record tally on their side.

Rhinos are well aware of Pirates running threat and will make sure they slow the tempo and enjoy the set piece, a place where they can be impose themselves. Any deviation from that plan is a recipe for disaster.
