Reports: Nyamityobora Coach Asaph Mwebaze Resigns

Nyamityobora FC Coach Asaph Mwebaze has resigned, sources at the club have alleged.

The development comes just few hours after the club’s 2-0 loss to Express in a league game at Kakyeka Stadium.

Efforts to reach coach Mwebaze are still in vain as he has not responded to our calls.

“Am not aware, I watched the game. I always post our partners positions and ours,” tweeted Eng Ben Misagga, one of the club directors, in response to the matter.

If this comes to pass, Mwebaze has left Nyamityobora second from the bottom with just 12 points from 19 games.

Mwebaze was appointed as the head coach for the Abanyakare, replacing sacked James Odoch on November 29, 2018.

Mwebaze had a short stint with Onduparaka where he joined from Maroons FC.
