The marathon that is the rugby fifteens league kicks off tomorrow and every team has been getting their house in order to ensure that they are vying to go by the time the referees blow their whistles tomorrow.

 

Rams RUFC, a team that has been in the super ten for two seasons now, launched their new kit and showcased some of the new players at Velocity bar and Grill in Kyanja along Kisaasi road on the eve of the Nile special rugby league.

 

There was also the revealing of their two partners for the season in the form of Kampala MRI centre and Velocity bar and Grill Kyanja. Kampala MRI centre, who are the main sponsors, provided the new jersey and will foot the players’ allowances for the league.Velocity will cover the refreshments for games and events.


 Another of the innovations was the launching of the membership drive which is open to the public; The drive involves a membership package that will enable fans and well wishers that subscribe to get a membership card that gives the person access to :

  • Invitation to all Rams activities
  • Discount on all Rams merchandise that include replica jerseys and others.
  • Discount on all Rams events and tours.

There was also a showcase of some of the team’s new recruits namely; Timothy Ernest Kavuma, Alex Tibaijuka, Emmanuel Kinyera, Jude Kakala, Emmanuel Onono and Joel Wadidi.
