Official: Vipers Sign Highly Rated Burundi Captain

In their bid to defend the league crown, Vipers have added another superstar to an already a star studded team at Kitende.

The Club has acquired the services of Burundi Captain Abdul Karim Nizigiyimana from Gor Mahia of Kenya.

The Club confirmed the development on their official twitter handle and club website, adding that he might feature in the league game against SC Villa on Saturday.

The defender joins the Venoms on a free-transfer and has signed a two year contract with the Kitende based side.

He becomes the third and final addition for the Venoms in the January transfer window after Innocent Wafula and Hamis Diego Kiiza.

He started his senior career with Burundi’s Vital’O in 2006 for two years before crossing to APR in Rwanda.

He later joined Kiyovu Sports (Rwanda), AS Vita (Congo DR), Vital’O (Burundi), Rayon Sports and Gor Mahia (Kenya). He won the Rwanda Premier league with Rayon and Kenya Premier League last season with Gor Mahia.
