Ndejje seeks to continue form, as Canons plan to add misery on our saviour

Our Saviour vs UCU Canons

Ndejje Angels vs JKL Dolphins

The MTN Indoor Arena hosts two matches this evening in the Men’s National Basketball League.

Perhaps the least anticipated game of the night will see Coach Natuhereza’s Canons, who are on an 8 game winning streak look continue their dominance as UCU canons take on Our Saviour, who sit 10th on the table. 27-year old forward Brian Namake (F-90)who was afrobasket player of the week for his extra ordinary perfomances in round 23 will be expected to continue his form as the canons plan to sink the kikoni based side.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Nkumba M. (#12, 2-11) 63-58. UCU Canons maintains the 2nd position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season (Betway Power, Warriors and KIU Titans..

Probably the most interesting of the two ties will see Ndejje University Angels play host to the struggling visitors JKL Dolphins at 8pm.

The last time JKL dolphins and Ndejje met, the latter won 59-55; with Michael Otieno scoring a game’s high 20 points.

The University side are in a form of the life, having defeated both Nkumba and Betway Power to stand with a 100% winning start to the second round. Ndejje sit 5th o the table with 21 points, while struggling JKL Dolphins have only won 4 games since the season started beating Falcons, Nkumba, Sharing and Our Saviour.
