This particular effort was one of the many the Cranes tried to tether together in an attempt to mount a comeback against a Simbas team that had gone ahead with a commanding lead. In this specific play, Aaron Ofoiwroth picks the ball off a ruck and kicks it towards Kenya 22 with Vice Captain Kimono Justin on the chase. Kimono is brought down by the chasing Jacob Ojee, releases the ball back to an oncoming Phillip Wokorach who lays it on the plate for arriving Michael Wokorach to rumble past former Heathens teammate Vincent Mose and score in the corner.
The Rugby Cranes are in desperate mode to resurrect their campaign and they have three straight home games starting with Tunisia this week, before they welcome Morocco next weekend. They will end the competition at home to Coach De Villiers’s Zimbabwe Sables
