Name : Flavia Agenorwot
Weight : 57 kgs
Height : 173 cm
Current club : Black Pearls
Former club : Kitgum Queens
Leadership roles : Current vice captain of the Black Pearls, former captain of Kitgum Town College and former captain of the Kitgum Queens

National engagements:  Part of the Lady Cranes sevens team – 2017 Rugby Africa 7’s in Tunisia and 2018 Safari 7’s in Kenya.

Early life
Flavia is the ideal Kitgum girl, born and bred there – she studied at Kitgum Primary School then expanded her education to Kitgum Town College where she came across rugby. Before she fell in love with rugby, Flavia was an athlete that took part in the 100, 200 and 400 metres. She also participated in the relay races which clearly shows why she has been a perfect fit for the Lady Cranes sevens team.

It has not been a smooth journey but with belief in what she wanted and perseverance, she reaps the benefits everyday and never regrets all the efforts.

Flavia in action for the Lady Cranes

Flavia travels from Kitgum to Kampala every weekend to train with the Lady Cranes – “She takes the Friday night bus and reaches Kampala at about 5:00 am on Saturday morning; she trains on Saturday, stays in Kampala overnight and trains again on Sunday before catching either the afternoon or night bus back to Kitgum.” Coach Helen Buteme of the Lady Cranes gives her testimony to such a sacrifice.
