The Kenya Cup entered into its third round this past weekend with Kabras maintaining 100% start, Nondies still 3 for 3 while KCB and Harlequins recovered from losses the weekend before to bag wins.
Beating Top Fry Nakuru 50-8 meant that Kabras maintained their winning streak, flattered by maximum bonus points to set them a step ahead of the chasing park. Returning from repechage duty, Felix Ayange got a hat-trick of tries, alongside Philip Wokorach, Fabian Olando, Barry Robinson, and Brain Tanga.
Tries from Fidel Oloo and Steven Odhiambo, plus two conversions and three penalties from Martin Juma handed Nondescript a 28-08 win over Menengai Oilers. The win made it 3 wins from 3 games after the Red Lion defeated Homeboyz 20-14 on opening weekend and won 27-22 again defending Champions KCB before last weekend.
KCB recovered from that loss to Nondies with a majestic 33-13 win over Stanbic Mwamba. Kenya Simbas Tony Onyango, Jacob Ojee and Andrew Amonde each scored a try to supplement tries from Michael Wanjala, Tony Omondi.
Kenya Harlequins recovered from a shock loss to Oilers last weekend with a commanding 35-15 win over Homeboyz on the back of aa hat-trick of tries from Alex Olaba. Aaron Ofoywroth registered a brace while Japser “Baskut” Onen also got a try of his own, with Aluda Beda joining the party.
