Express FC club chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka has dismissed the ongoing ‘rumours’ that the club has parted ways with Head coach Kefa Kisala.
The prominent lawyer, used his twitter handle to comment on one of the posts that claimed that Express had sacked Coach Kefa.
This is not true!! When we make a decision we officially communicate it. Kefa Kisaala is still the head coach of Express,” reads the tweet.
The developments come shortly after the club’s 2-0 home loss to Police FC in a league game played at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
Juma Balinya and Johnson Odong scored a goal each to dent Express to their sixth loss of the 2018/19 campaign.
Kefa has been at the wrong end of the criticism from the club fans who have demanded his resignation since the last five games.
When contacted by this website, Kisala who joined Express FC from BUL,briefly said:
I am still the head coach, regard the news as fake.”
The Red Eagles, tenth on the log, are yet to win a league game in 2019; Two draws and as many losses from the four games, and have managed just a goal in 2019.
Express’ February package include back to back trips against BUL and Nyamityobora, host Maroons on Matchday 20 before visiting Ndejje University.
