The day is Thursday and Kabras have made their way from Kakamega to Kenya’s capital to for Saturday epic clash against champs KCB with only two changes from their win against Homeboyz.
Ephraim Oduor and Brian Juma are the two reinforcements among the forwards as their inclusion sees Hosea Ngesa and Charlton Mouka drop to the bench. Ugandan international Eliphaz Emong features for the second-string side that will play in the Eric Shirley Shield.
Kabras are still unbeaten this season and it is no surprise their full back and Kenya Cup top scorer, Philip Wokorach, is in his favored full back position. As Philip will be causing chaos from the back, fellow countryman Asuman Mugerwa will see to issues at the head of the pack as tight head prop.
Kabras against KCB will be a replay of the 2017 and 2018 Kenya Cup finals, both ending in the favor of the latter and the boys from Kakamega are buoyed enough for some payback.
Kabras have picked up wins through their first 10 games and only failing to pick a bonus point last week and amassing 49 points, while KCB have already lost a game this season but sit in second position on 44 points.
