Unbeaten and table leading Kabras Sugar will be guests as RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi this weekend as they will be hosted by Kenya Harlequins in the ninth round of the Kenya Cup.
With Pirates and Heathens going at each other in Kampala, one eye will be on the Nairobi fixture as a host of Ugandans will be taking part. Kabras Sugar have in their ranks three Ugandans i.e. Asuman Mugerwa, Eliphaz Emong and Philip Wokorach. Kenya Harlequins on the other hand, will have Jasper Ochen, Aaron Ofoywroth and Scoot Oluoch at their service while winger Daudi Ssemwami is still out with a broken arm and Solomon Okia who just had surgery on his knee is as much unavailable.
Kabras Sugar have collected bonus points in all the games they’ve played, putting them in first place with 40 points while Harlequins are in 3rd place with 31 points.
The fact that Quins new tactician Charles Cardovillis, who led Kabras Sugar to the Kenya Cup final last year adds icing to the cake as he will be up against his former employers.
Philip Wokorach has been scoring for fun in Kenya and it will be interesting to see how he fares coming up against his countrymen.
