Nomad 3-2 Park
Aidenal 4-3 Crown
Mengo City 3-0 Parakeets
Equator 2-3 Dream
Yeah Kabowa 8-3 Typhoon
Bajim 4-4 Kabowa United
Last season’s Most Valuable player (MVP) Jamil Kaliisa produced a man of the match with a hat-trick to lift Dream over Equator in a Futsal Super League game played in Mengo.
Hussein Mohamed Abdallah and Sulaiman Mutyaba scored for Equator but their efforts could not deny Dream FC maximum points.
It should be noted that Dream FC are last season’s champions after edging the crown away from KSPG with 48 points from 20 games.
The victory lifts Dream to sixth place on the table with 19 points from eleven league games. This was the club’s fifth win of the campaign.
Equator on the other hand, have now slipped to eleventh with eleven points, despite boasting with some of the best players in the league and a coach in Abubaker Tabula, who is a former national football team player.
The loss, sixth of the season, is the second for Equator FC in a row – The club came into the game on the back of a 4-7 loss go Yeak Kabowa.
Yeak Kabowa opened up a four point lead at the top with an 8-3 win over Typhoon. Avemah Shafic scored six goals and Enock Ssebagala added a double in the commanding victory.
Crown FC choked in the title chase with a 4-3 loss to Aidenal. Mohammed Salad (2) and Adan Jama scored but their efforts were not enough to at least get a point for Crown who lost their third game of the season.
Crown will look to bounce back next week against off form Parakeets. Parakeets were humbled 3-0 by Mengo City to remain on 22 points, level with second placed Crown.
Fourth placed Park FC lost 3-2 to Nomad. Yeak Kabowa humbled Typhoon 8-3. Bajim and Kabowa United shared spoils in an eight goal showdown.
