Four changes in the Rugby Cranes squad for Zimbabwe Sables as Seguya names three debutantes

Coach Robert Seguya has this evening named the 23 man Rugby Cranes squad to play Zimbabwe Sables in the Victoria Cup, this Saturday making four changes from the squad which lost to Kenya in the return leg of the Elgon Cup on 13th July.

There is only shuffle in the back-line for the Elgon Cup defeat at the hands of Kenya, while the forwards welcome three new faces. Faraji Odugo, Kelvin Balagadde and Ivan Kabagambe join the Cranes team and will be making their international test rugby debuts. The three replace Joseph Kagimu, Brian Asaba and Saul Kivumbi respectively. Eric Mula is the other new face, and he comes in for recovering Ian Munyani.

Byron Oketayot, who actually scored for the Cranes against Zimbabwe last year in the Gold Cup, is still out having gotten injured in the Elgon Cup first leg in Kisumu in a 16-13 Uganda win against Kenya. He is joined on the sidelines by vice captain and Kobs back-rower Brian Asaba in the injury department.

In the absence of Brian Asaba, Charles Uhuru will be deputizing Asuman Mugerwa.
