Bernard Agele has joined Malaysian side University Teknologi Mara (UiTM) FC, this website has learnt.

The South Sudanese international centre back recently had stints with Express FC, SC Villa, KCCA FC, Victoria University and Paidha Black Angels in the Uganda Premier League.

Agele is a hard, physical and aggressive defender who doesnt fear to put his foot in any tackle. He has power, impressive game reading and also good in the air.

He becomes the third African player at the Malaysian club currently after Onorionde Kughegbe from Nigeria and Côte Dvoire duo Dao Bakary and Dechi Marcel – The trio were at the club last season.

UiTM is a University owned team in Shah Alam, Selangor that competes in the second tier of Malaysia’s football league.

The club was founded in 2008 and finished ninth last season with 22 points from 20 games.

The new league season kicks off on Friday February 2, with UiTM visiting PDRM.
