Dala 7s : Mwamba wins, forces a close circuit finish

After losing to them in two finals, Stanbic Mwamba RFC finally beat Homeboyz 17-00 in the final of the Dala 7s in Kisumu at the Mamboleo stadium. Tries through Shujaa superstar Collins Injera, Taabu and finals MVP, Eliakim Kichoi were enough to put away the log leaders, Homeboyz, with the later failing to register a single point on the board.

Out of 5 outings so far, Mwamba have appeared in 4 finals, only missing out on Kabeberi 7s, a tournament they hosted. Before Dala 7s, Stanbic Mwamba were losing finalists against Top Fry Nakuru in the Driftwood 7s in Mombasa.

Owing to that win, Mwamba reduced the gap between them and log leaders Homeboyz to 8 points and all is to fight for at the last 7s outing in Nairobi at the RFUEA Grounds. Perennial semi-finalists, KCB, follow closely in 3rd place.
