Century Bottling, under the Coca Cola brand, makes its long-awaited return to Ugandan rugby with the newly introduced Kratos Schools Cup.
This partnership will see Coca Cola as the official beverage partner of the Kratos Schools Cup this December and they will provide refreshments to all the players of the day.
“This (return to rugby) felt long overdue for us as Coca Cola and now that we are here, let us have some fun,” said Newton Ogong, the Special Events, and Promotions Manager at Century Bottling Company.
“For every institution, the young ones are the ones that hold the future and we are glad to partner with the next stars of sports, and in particular rugby in Uganda.”
Coca Cola has been sponsors of the Schools 15s rugby league before, a time when the competition was ruled by Namilyango College and Kings College Budo with stars like Justin Kimono, Alfred Karekaho, Kimuli and Obote making their names around this time.
