Lightning quickness on the attack proved vital as Buffaloes beat Rhinos 33-18 to win their third game in a row in the Ugandan Rugby Premiership.

Buffaloes opened the game with ferociousness on the road to beating Rhinos and were rewarded with two back-to-back converted tries through Eddie Kayima, with Alul Stephen adding the extras. Rhinos through their forwards, bullied their way through Buffaloes line and Scott Oluoch went over. David Otwii made it a perfect score bringing the game to 14-07. He would add a penalty before Innocent Gwoktho could round the Rhinos defense and give the hosts their third try, sending the game into a 19-10 break.

After the break, Seguya Wilfred added two beautiful long range penalties before Aziz Karim would split the posts with a drop goal bring their lead to 28-13. Another Buffaloes attack saw Stephen Alul with a beautiful cross-kick that fell perfectly in the path of Paul Bagota who made no mistake but score the try. David Otwi added a try late on but it was late, as Buffaloes beat Rhinos 33-18 winners.

The Warriors made an easy go of the Jinja Hippos scoring six tries, and converting three while adding a penalty try to win 43-14 at Kyadondo keeping their winning streak going. Warriors scored through Allan Omoding (2), Daniel Buule, Muhoozi, Tumusiime and Musisi while Bagalana Taufiq scored a brace for the Hippos to keep their winning streak alive.
