Black Pirates will now tussle it out in the Challenge Trophy, going up early on Day 2 against Strathmore Leos. The Leos are not a new opponent for Ugandan sides at the Christie 7s, as they came up against Uganda’s select 7s side in the quarter-finals of last year’s edition, winning 29-07. Of the three Pirates who made the Select team in 2018, only Isaac Massa and Haruna Muhammad returned with Timothy Kisiga not making the trip.
