Basena names Cranes team to face Ghana for upcoming fixtures

Coach Moses Basena named a squad of 35 players to start preparations for the Uganda Cranes Regional Tour of Northern Uganda and the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The Cranes will play in Lira, Northern Uganda on 30th September and 7th October against Ghana at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

among the new faces to join the team are Striker Edrisa Lubega,  Tonny Mawejje and Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito

FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein  announced that the training will start on Wednesday 27th September, 2017 at 4pm at Namboole stadium under the guidance of Basena and his technical team, and Coach Basena will reduce his squad with the arrival of foreign-based players in camp.
