All Blacks name an almost entirely new team to face Japan

Steve Hansen of the All Blacks has almost entirely overhauled their squad to face Japan, with Richie Mo’unga the only survivor from the 23 that faced the Wallabies the previous weekend. Japan presents an opportunity to give the fringe players an opportunity to show what they have and how they can be able to fit into a highly competitive New Zealand set up.

In a team that has a good number of debutants, regular faces such as Luke Whitelock, Dane Coles, Vaia Fifita and Richie Mounga take up the seniority role in the squad that plays Japan on Saturday morning (Ugandan time)
